Collaborators

Who are Collaborators?

Collaborators are special types of live chat agents. They enhance your live chat team and boost chat efficiency. They are similar to a standard agent, with different permissions.

For instance, they’re not able to communicate with clients, but only with the representatives inside of your company. They are solving customer issues by creating internal comments, adding and deleting their own attachments or just viewing customer info.

Collaborator Permissions

Unlike agents, collaborators have a different set of permissions, usually basic ones. Let’s explore a short list of actions they can’t perform.

  • Add new projects
  • Create or manage tickets
  • Manage agent profiles
  • Access billing
  • Chat with users

Generally speaking, this kind of special permission group usually takes on an observer role. Their primary task is to help manage internal clutter and improve teamwork.
