Subdomain

What is a Subdomain?

A subdomain is a domain that is a part of the root domain. Subdomains are created to organize and navigate to different sections of one website. You can have multiple subdomains or child domains on your main domain.

For instance, in domain “shop.mywebsite.com”, “shop” is a subdomain, “my website” is the primary domain and “com” is the top level domain (TLD). You can use any word as your subdomain, but it should be easy to type and remember.
