Host Mapping
What is Host Mapping?
Host Mapping is a process of mapping a host’s domain URL to a URL of another domain. This allows for an URL to carry a specific name, e.g. your company name.
If an address is by default is a subdomain of a larger domain, host mapping helps you change your URL address to represent only your own domain. This process has to be approved by your domain provider in order to function properly.
For example:
Your address support.paldesk.company.com becomes support.company.com.
