Code of Practice

What is the Code of Practice?

Code of practice is written guideline that commands how workers in a particular profession should behave underpinning the most commonly encountered ethical standards. The purpose of the code of practice is to encourage equal opportunity at all levels of employment.

The Code of practice is not intended to address every ethical issue, but it explains core professional values and behaviors. It gives instructions on how to provide support, or communicate with clients.
