Set up a widget trigger to greet and motivate idle visitors on your page. Serving as an automated message on your website, the trigger will be displayed right above the chat widget.
How can you set up a Widget Trigger?
To configure a trigger for your chat widget, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Log into your Paldesk account.
Step 2: Go to Administration > Embeddable elements > Website widget and open the Trigger tab.

Step 3: Here you can configure the following:
- Triggered notification enabled – this is where you enable or disable the trigger.
- Triggered notification sound URL – this is where you can select the notification sound from a menu.
- Triggered notification delay – here you can determine if your trigger will be displayed immediately or after a certain period of time.
- Triggered notification text – here you can edit the text displayed on your widget trigger.
Step 4: Select “Save” to save changes.
