Live chat installation 

To start off, first, you need to register at Paldesk or log in with your existing account.

Step 1: After you log in, click on ‘Administration’ and then go to ‘Website Widget’ under ‘Embeddable elements’. There you will choose your desired widget. To continue, select ‘Install’ and click ‘Copy to clipboard’ button.

Step 2: Paste the code anywhere before the </BODY> tag in the HTML template of your site or every page where you’d like to provide the Live Chat.

Step 3: Next, go to your website to check if everything works correctly.

Step 4: If you see a chat window in the bottom portion of the page, you have successfully installed Live Chat code on your website!

Create another chat widget

Available on premium subscription plans

You can create new widget by clicking on the +’ button in the top right corner of the dashboard (Website widget – General tab).

Here you can customize the name, labels, position, colors and client authentication type for your new widget.

Other tabs give you the option to add channels, triggers, add agent avatars and status, enabled collapsed state, hide Paldesk logo (Rising Star feature) and edit widget visibility.
