Paldesk desktop app
Download the Paldesk desktop app if you prefer keeping Paldesk separate from other tabs. The desktop app is available for Windows, Mac and Unix, and it automatically syncs with the web version. Learn more about it below.
Where can I download the Paldesk desktop app?
To download our desktop app log in to the Paldesk web app and click on the Quick Setup from the sidebar menu. Scroll down to the end and select the app you would like to install.

Next, follow installation instructions. Once the installation is complete, you should be able to log in with your Paldesk credentials.
Note: You’ll have to right-click and open the Mac app since you have downloaded it from an “unidentified developer”.
What can I do in the desktop app?
The desktop app is very similar to our web app. You can set up your Paldesk account, reply to your chats and emails, browse conversations and tickets, access the Administration tab, customize your widgets, basically anything you can do in the web version.

Note: Remember my credentials
In the web app, “Remember my credentials” will save your Paldesk credentials in your browser history.
The desktop app will not memorize your credentials. Instead, it will ensure you remain logged in as long as you’re logged into the web app. When you log out of the web app, the desktop version will automatically log you out as well.

However, that doesn’t mean you have to be simultaneously logged into both apps. If you choose to log into both, as soon as you log out from the web app, the Paldesk desktop app will log you out as well.
