Remove the chat login form on your Paldesk chat widget if you do not need your customers’ contact information. Once you have done that, visitors will be able to start a new chat as anonymous, without sharing their name or email address. You can moderate this option in your client authentication settings, and set it up based on your preferences. Learn how in this short article!
How can I remove the chat login form?
You can easily edit the login form in two simple steps!
Step 1: Go to Administration> Embeddable elements > Website Widget> General tab, and scroll down to the Client authentication label.
Step 2. Select the first option, “No data required – client will appear as ‘visitor'” option and save changes.
Here’s what that screen will look like in your app administration:

What will my chat window look like without a login form?
Once you have removed the login form, your visitors will be able to start a new chat conversation without logging in. Additionally, they will only be recorded in the app as visitors (“Visitor 16”, for example), which will make it harder to track their conversation history, and they will not be able to request a chat transcript.
