The pre-chat form is information that is required to be filled by the customer before they start the chat. For further addressing and working with a particular customer, it is useful to know basic information about them, such as email and name. However, sometimes it demotivates customers to contact and it takes more time.
How to Deactivate Pre-chat Form?
Administration> Embeddable elements > Website Widget
In line with General, Install and Advanced, right below your widget name, click Advanced.
On the drop-down menu click Authentication settings.
Click No data required – Client will appear as“visitor”.
Click Save changes.
